Elizabeth Byers

Elizabeth Byers has extensive experience in educational support and program management, currently serving as an Instructional Coach at City Year since July 2012. Over the years, Elizabeth has held multiple roles, including Senior Service Manager and Recruitment & Admissions/Alumni Engagement Service Leader, contributing to the establishment of a national non-profit site. Elizabeth has completed over 2000 hours of service in a startup capacity and has also worked as a Corps Member, providing academic support and interventions to at-risk eighth graders. Elizabeth's earlier roles include Education Intern at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center and Seamstress at the College Light Opera Company, complemented by research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Northwestern University. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Biochemistry from Lawrence University, earned in 2011.
