Sagrario Wang

Sagrario Wang currently serves as the Assistant Principal at East Aurora School District 131, a position held since June 2023. Before this role, Sagrario was a Bilingual Union Representative at VVSD 365U from January 2021 to June 2023 and worked as a Dual Language Teacher at Valley View School District 365U from August 2016 to June 2023. Additionally, Sagrario founded the HOPE Scholarship for students in Chicago's Back of the Yards Community, which addresses challenges related to gang violence and poverty. Sagrario's teaching experience includes various bilingual teaching positions in Berkeley District 87 and Chicago Public Schools. Sagrario's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Dual Language & Teacher Leadership from Roosevelt University and a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois Chicago.
