Trudy Bihm - Howard

Trudy Bihm-Howard has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Trudy is the owner of Tru Travel Experience LLC since 2020, where they manage the company's operations. Prior to that, they worked as a Special Projects Coordinator at EAST BATON ROUGE COUNCIL ON THE AGING INC from 2018 onwards. In 2017, they also owned TRUEvents, LLC. Before that, they served as the Director of Information & Assistance Management at the East Baton Rouge Council on Aging from 2015 to 2017. Trudy has also worked as a Resouce Development Coordinator/Marketing Director at EAST BATON ROUGE COUNCIL ON THE AGING INC from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, they have experience in the healthcare industry, having worked as a Business Development Director at Health Care Options Home Health and Hospice from 2009 to 2013. Trudy also held the position of Director of Social Services at Auburndale Oaks Healthcare from 2007 to 2009. Trudy's expertise also includes coordination of patient care and quality assurance, as demonstrated by their role as a Patient Care Coordinator at MD Medicare Choice from 2007 to 2008. Trudy started their career as a Recreation/Special Events Coordinator at The Children's Home in 2000, where they remained until 2005.

Trudy Bihm-Howard earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge from 1996 to 2000. In 2005 to 2006, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Counseling Psychology at Troy University. During the same period, they also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Capella University.
