Dr. Ni'Shawn Stovall

Dr. Ni'Shawn Stovall has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Dr. Ni'Shawn currently serves as the Administrative Director at the East Baton Rouge Parish School System since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager and Recruiter for Magnet Programs at the same organization from January 2016 to April 2021. Additionally, they were an Instructional Specialist for STEM Programs and Consultant from August 2013 to April 2021.

In terms of higher education, Dr. Stovall was an Adjunct Professor at Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge from September 2016 to present.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Supervisor at Convergys from August 2001 to July 2009.

Dr. Ni'Shawn Stovall earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge in 2001. Dr. Ni'Shawn later pursued a Master of Natural Science degree in Mathematics from Louisiana State University, which they completed in 2012. In 2015, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Science and Mathematics Education from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge.
