Marlon Cousin

Marlon Cousin has extensive experience in educational administration and community engagement, currently serving as the Administrative Director of Family and Community Engagement for the East Baton Rouge Parish School System since October 2000. Previous roles include Interim Administrative Director of Communications & Public Relations, Community Liaison, Title I Coordinator, and Recruiter for Magnet Programs. In addition, Marlon operates two independent businesses: The Cousin Group LLC, which focuses on compliance with the No Child Left Behind Act and program implementation, and KOOZAN Multimedia Worx, specializing in multimedia production. Marlon's early career included serving as Magnet Lead Teacher and certified Social Studies Teacher at Istrouma High School, where recognition as Teacher of the Year occurred three times. Marlon holds multiple degrees from Southern University, including an M.Ed in Education Administration & Supervision.
