Veta Parker

Veta Parker is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in school counseling and college admissions advising. Since July 2021, Veta has worked with the East Baton Rouge Parish School System, while also serving as the Chief Executive Officer of V. Parker Consulting, LLC since October 2019, providing college admissions guidance to high school students. Veta has previously held positions as a Professional School Counselor in multiple school districts, managing large student caseloads, achieving remarkable graduation rates, and implementing programs that promote college readiness. Veta's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Research from Louisiana State University, alongside various degrees in education and counseling, culminating in a commitment to fostering student success and developing a college-going culture.
