Meg Mattar

Meg Mattar started their career in 2006 as a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee at Seneca Center. Meg then went on to work as a PATH Certified Instructor at The Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International from 2004 to 2012. In 2008, they became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Program Manager at Berkeley Youth Alternatives, a role they held until 2014. From 2011 to 2011, they worked as an MFTI at TRAILS to Success. In 2013, Meg started a role as a Therapist and PATH Certified Equine Specialist at their Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Private Practice. Their most recent positions at East Bay Agency for Children include roles such as Assistant Program Director, Senior Director of South Region School Based Behavioral Health, Senior Director of School Based Behavioral Health & Learning and Education Department, and currently holds the position of Senior Director of Learning & Education since 2022.

From 2004 to 2007, Meg Mattar attended the California Institute of Integral Studies where they pursued a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with a focus on Expressive Arts Therapy.
