Brett Wiley currently serves as a Senior Program Associate for Electric Mobility at Ava Community Energy, overseeing multiple substantial programs focused on equity and community reinvestment. Additionally, Brett is an Adjunct Professor at Presidio Graduate School, teaching a course on Planning, Policy, and Sustainable Economic Development. Previously, Brett held senior management roles at MCE, leading electric transportation initiatives and managing customer programs for a public electricity supplier. Brett's diverse background includes experience as an Independent Career Coach, a Research Assistant at Indiana University Bloomington, and roles in various environmental and energy-related organizations, culminating in a Master of Public Affairs and a focus on energy and sustainable development.
East Bay Community Energy
East Bay Community Energy (EBCE), is the local public electricity supplier in Alameda County and in the City of Tracy. EBCE is providing clean, green energy at low rates to our 635,000 customers. EBCE reinvests earnings back into the community to create local green energy jobs, local programs, and clean power projects. EBCE member cities include Albany, Berkeley, Dublin, Emeryville, Fremont, Hayward, Livermore, Newark, Oakland, Piedmont, Pleasanton, San Leandro, Stockton, Tracy, and Union City. The unincorporated areas of Alameda County (including Ashland, Castro Valley, Cherryland, Fairview, San Lorenzo, and Sunol) are also served by EBCE.
