The East Bay SPCA has been saving lost and abandoned animals since 1874. We are an independent, nonprofit organization serving Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. We operate two Adoption and Education Centers, two Spay/Neuter Surgery Centers and a full-service Veterinary Clinic. Thanks to all of our donors and supporters who make our lifesaving work possible!

The Animal Care Team at East Bay SPCA is dedicated to the health and well-being of animals in their care. This team is responsible for daily care, behavior training, and medical support for the animals, ensuring they are nurtured, socialized, and prepared for adoption. They also coordinate with foster homes and provide specialized training to enhance the animals' chances of finding loving, permanent homes.
