Julio Mazul

VP & Deputy Chief Medical Officer at East Boston Neighborhood Health Center

Dr. Julio Mazul received his Bachelors of Science in biology and a minor in history from the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Mazul received his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in OBGYN at the Beth Israel Deaconess/Harvard Medical School program.

Dr. Mazul served as the Medical Director of OBGYN at EBNHC for six years prior to his new role as Deputy Chief Medical Officer. As Medical Director of OBGYN, he led a team of six physicians, seven Nurse Practitioners and four Certified Nurse Midwives.

Dr. Mazul was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. His parents are Guatemalan. He is bilingual in Spanish and English.
