David Nicholls

David Nicholls, CFA, has extensive experience in finance, currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at East Capital since October 2014, specializing in emerging and frontier markets through in-depth local market analysis and frequent company visits. Prior to this role, David worked at ING Investment Banking from August 2010 to July 2014 as an Associate, advising major oil and gas companies on the structuring and financing of large projects in Russia and the CIS, where services included creating complex financial models and managing due diligence processes. David's career in finance began with a 12-month graduate trainee program at ING Investment Banking and an internship in the Syndicated Finance department in 2008. David holds a degree in Economics from Durham University, obtained between 2006 and 2009.
