Mark D. Webster

Mark D. Webster, Ph.D., currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at East Carolina University, overseeing the institution's Information Security Program and advising leadership on security strategies. Prior experience includes roles as Vice President of Technology and Chief Information Officer at J Sargeant Reynolds Community College, where Mark contributed to enhancing technological support for educational processes, and Director of Technology and Learning at Colonial Heights Public Schools, managing technology services for the district. Mark has also taught online courses in instructional technology at the University of San Diego and held various technology leadership positions in K-12 and higher education settings. Mark holds a Ph.D. in Education Technology Management from Northcentral University and additional degrees in Educational Media, Information Technology Management, Philosophy, and Environmental Science.
