Meagan Kiser

Meagan Kiser has extensive experience in legal affairs, currently serving as General Counsel and Vice Chancellor for Legal Affairs at East Carolina University since December 2015. Kiser has held various positions at the university, including Interim General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel. Prior to joining East Carolina University, Kiser practiced law as an Attorney at Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP from September 2010 to December 2015 and completed an externship with the North Carolina Court of Appeals under Judge Rick Elmore in 2009. Kiser holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Doctor of Law degree from Campbell University.
