David Simpson is a seasoned performing arts professional with a diverse background in theatre management and civic leadership. Current roles as the Performing Arts Center Manager at East China School District since October 2003 demonstrate a long-standing commitment to the arts. Previously, David served as Mayor Pro Tem and city commissioner for the City of Marine City from January 2013 to April 2018. Earlier experiences include positions as Technical Director at Albion College and Assistant Theatre Coordinator at Lake Orion Schools, complemented by technical roles at Macomb Community College. David holds a degree in Theatre Production and Design from Oakland University, attained between 1998 and 2002.
