Nicole Stevens

Project Analyst at East Coast Acquisition

Nicole Stevens has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. In 2014, they were a Grant Research/Case Management Intern at Communities In Schools of the Midlands, where they researched and identified small-scale grants and interventions to target needs identified by Site Coordinators, school employees, and families. Nicole also managed a caseload of 10 elementary school students to track, assess, and improve behavior, attendance, and academic performance. In 2015, they were an Homelessness Services Intern at United Way of the Midlands, where they managed the region's Homelessness Management Information System and helped initiate the area's first Permanent Housing Prioritization System. Nicole also co-coordinated Richland and Lexington County Homelessness Census. In 2016, they were a Barista/Barista Trainer/Food Safety Manager at Starbucks, where they balanced speed, accuracy, and safety while handcrafting beverages in a high-volume retail environment. Nicole also interpreted customer needs to provide individualized service and recommend food, beverage, and retail products. In 2017, they were a Senior Resume Writer at Andy Thomas Careers Now, where they managed the end-to-end resume writing process, from the initial sale and interview through the writing, formatting, editing, and final revision to create concise, professional narratives for clients. Nicole also oversaw, trained and developed two resume writers. In 2017, they were also a Project Analyst at East Coast Acquisition, where they managed and analyzed project milestone data to guide project and organizational processes. Nicole also evaluated and developed the daily operations of a growing telecommunications company to improve individual and organizational efficiency.

Nicole Stevens began their educational journey at the University of South Carolina, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Social Work in 2015. Nicole then continued their studies at the same institution, earning their Master's degree in Social Work in 2016. In 2018, Nicole returned to the University of South Carolina to pursue a Master's degree in Applied Statistics, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Additionally, in October 2015, Nicole obtained a Grant Writing Certificate from the University of South Carolina - Continuing Education and Conferences.
