Brian Brandt

Brian Brandt is a seasoned aviation and engineering professional with extensive experience in both flight instruction and technical leadership. Currently serving as a Gold Seal Flight Instructor at East Coast Aero Club since June 2018, Brian previously held the position of Pilot at PlaneSense, Inc. from October 2019 to May 2021. Notably, Brian spent over 17 years at Maxim Integrated, where significant contributions included identifying new technologies and leading design teams for various advanced electronic products. Prior roles include Design Manager at National Semiconductor, where Brian led teams in A/D and RF product development, and various technical positions at prominent companies such as IBM, Texas Instruments, and Hughes Research Labs, focusing on analog-to-digital conversion and IC design. Brian holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, as well as a Bachelor's degree from Purdue University.
