Christine Sampson

Christine Sampson is a seasoned journalist with a diverse background in editorial roles, currently serving as the Deputy Managing Editor at The East Hampton Star since April 2020. Previously, Christine worked as a Reporter for The Sag Harbor Express, where coverage included education and community features, contributing to the publication's recognition as New York Press Association Newspaper of the Year in 2015 and 2016. Earlier experience includes positions as an Education Reporter for both The East Hampton Star and The Virginia Gazette, as well as local editing for Patch.com in the Three Village area. Christine began a career in journalism at Newsday, covering sports, and also held editorial roles at the American Institute of Physics and served as a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks. Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Hofstra University.
