Ashley-Anna Aboreden

Ashley-Anna Aboreden is an accomplished educator and journalist with extensive experience in arts and culture. Currently serving as an 8th Grade ELA Teacher at the East Harlem Tutorial Program since September 2023, Ashley-Anna also holds the position of Deputy Editor at The Inquisitive Eater: The New School Food Magazine since September 2022 and works as an Arts and Culture Journalist for Miami New Times since January 2021. Previous roles include Content Lead Copywriter at TickPick, Writer for Gay City News, Content Creator for Flip Social Shopping, and Music Playlist Curator for Musicto. Additionally, Ashley-Anna has taught poetry at the O, Miami Poetry Festival and worked as a Social Media Manager for Coco Bella Miami. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Fiction from The New School and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Florida International University.
