Jenny Foster

Jenny Foster currently serves as the Principal Sustainability Officer at East Herts District Council, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this role, Jenny worked as Programme Lead for the Hertfordshire Growth Board from November 2021 to February 2024. Jenny's extensive experience at Hertfordshire County Council spanned from 2004 to February 2024, during which roles included Principal Planning Officer for Strategic Projects, Principal Planning Officer for the HS2 Project, and Planning Officer. Earlier in Jenny's career, positions included Assistant Merchandiser and Customer Relations Manager at Habitat from 2002 to 2004, along with Customer Relations Advisor and Sales Assistant roles at Habitat UK Ltd from 1998 to 2002. Jenny began their professional journey at Standard Life Bank as a Business Banking Account Administrator in 1998. Academically, Jenny holds an MA in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Westminster, completed in 2010.
