Kevin King is an experienced library professional, currently serving as the Library Director at East Lansing Public Library. Kevin has also worked as an Independent Consultant/Presenter, where Kevin has presented in over 20 states on various library topics. Kevin is a member of the Michigan Library Association, holding various leadership roles within the organization. In their past roles, Kevin has been involved in community engagement, teen services, and leading nationally recognized programs. Kevin is also the founder and editor of Library Lost & Found, a blog for library leaders.

The East Lansing Public Library's mission is to provide a place and resources where people gather to share information and ideas to enrich lives and foster community. The vision is to enrich, connect and transform lives through knowledge and innovation. The East Lansing Public Library is the recipient of the 2017 State Librarian’s Excellence award and centrally located just north of Michigan State University, within the East Lansing Community. The library includes meeting room spaces, quiet study areas, a teen area, a 1,100 square foot Maker Studio and over 3,000 square feet of Children’s space. With more than 30 staff members, the library is committed to providing services to the diverse MSU/East Lansing community.
