David Archer

David Archer is the current Library Director at Cook Memorial Public Library District. Prior to their current position, David was a librarian at Oakton Community College from January 2004 to December 2007. Before that, they were a librarian at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from January 2000 to December 2003. David's library career started at Council Bluffs Public Library where they worked from January 1996 to December 1999.

David Archer has a Bachelor of Arts from Creighton University and a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
