John Zambo

John Zambo has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. John is currently the Director Of Engineering and Warranty at East Manufacturing Corporation, a position they started in September 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Engineering Manager at the same company from June 2019 to September 2021, where they were responsible for managing and directing the engineering workforce and driving cost reductions through design and process improvements.

Before joining East Manufacturing Corporation, John was the Production Engineering Manager at PACS Switchgear LLC from May 2016 to June 2019. In this role, they oversaw and coordinated all engineering activities related to the design and manufacturing of switchgear.

John also has experience at Carlisle Brake & Friction, where they worked as a Sr. Project Engineer from June 2014 to February 2016. During their time there, they led several successful new product development efforts and worked closely with customers to revise product design specifications.

From January 2009 to June 2014, John served as the Engineering Manager - Drive Train at The Robbins Company. Here, they created and managed the drive train engineering department, bringing design responsibility in-house to reduce cost and lead time while improving quality.

John's earlier work includes roles as a Product Development Engineer at InterSyn, a Design Engineer - Enclosed Drives at Horsburgh & Scott Company, and a Project Engineer at MTD Products.

John Zambo completed an Associate of Applied Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Lorain County Community College from 1985 to 1988. John then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Cleveland State University, graduating between 1997 and 2000. In 2013, they obtained a certificate in Fundamentals of Management from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management.
