Chris Lewis

Chris Lewis has extensive experience in safety, environmental management, and sustainability within the transportation sector. Currently serving as Safety Risk and Change Manager and HSSE Change Business Partner at East Midlands Railway since November 2020, Chris is responsible for the implementation of the Sustainability Plan and strategy, overseeing ISO14001 certification, and providing environmental guidance to staff. Previously, Chris held positions as Head of Safety and Environment at Stagecoach Supertram and as Environmental & Safety Performance Manager at East Midlands Railway. Earlier experience includes serving as Deputy Facilities Manager and Environment Officer at the National Ice Centre & Capital FM Arena. Chris is a member of IEMA, actively working with industry partners to promote sustainable practices in the railway sector.
