Rob Mason

Rob Mason currently serves as the Head of Operational Planning & Transformation at East Midlands Railway, a position held since July 2020, focusing on train planning and operational transformation projects in collaboration with Network Rail. Previously, Rob held the role of Head of Alliancing & Operational Transformation, where efforts were directed towards building partnerships with Network Rail to enhance railway services for customers. Prior to East Midlands Railway, Rob's experience includes a secondment as Head Of Control at West Midlands Trains and various roles over a decade at East Midlands Railway, including Deputy Operations Director and Head Of Service Delivery. Early career experience includes positions at GNER as Train Planning Manager and Customer Service Controller. Rob's educational background includes studies at Central School Grantham from 1986 to 1991.
