Brian Mahoney

Brian Mahoney has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Brian is currently the Head of Design at East Side Games, starting in 2022. Previously, they worked at Skillz Inc. from 2018 to 2022, where they held the position of Director of Game Design. In this role, they collaborated with external partner studios to design and launch over 100 mobile games for skill-based prize competitions. Brian also managed a team of four senior game designers and oversaw Skillz's game publishing business.

Before that, Brian worked at GSN Games from 2010 to 2018. Brian held various roles during their tenure, including Senior Director of Game Design, Director of Game Production, and Director of Game Design. At GSN Games, they were responsible for game design and production, as well as managing game releases and marketing launches.

Prior to their time at GSN Games, Brian worked at WorldWinner.com from 2002 to 2010. Brian served as the Director of Product Management, Games, leading the production and design of WorldWinner games and tournament products. Brian also held the roles of Director of Tournament Programming and Director of Player Experience.
