Brittney MacDonald has a diverse work experience history spanning from 2006 to the present. Their most recent role is as a QA Analyst at East Side Games, which they began in March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at London Drugs from 2016 to 2022, where they held two positions. The first position was as a Photo Laboratory Technician, where they printed and developed photos and applied color correction. The second position was as a Health and Beauty Aisle-person, where they managed inventory, maintained the department, assisted customers, and led a team of floor staff. Before London Drugs, Brittney worked at The Other Press from 2013 to 2019, holding multiple roles including Business Manager, Life & Style Editor, and comic book/graphic novel critic. Brittney also worked at Ruskin General Store and Pizza as a Server and Cook from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, they volunteered at Relic Entertainment in 2012, play testing Company of Heroes 2. Lastly, they worked at Austin Fish & Chips from 2006 to 2012, where they were the Front of House Manager and was responsible for coordinating with employees and maintaining a culinary standard.
Brittney MacDonald began their education journey in 2008 at Douglas College, where they obtained a Certification in Tourism and Travel Services Management. Brittney then pursued their Associate of Arts degree in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) at Douglas College from 2012 to 2014. Building on their previous studies, Brittney went on to attend Simon Fraser University from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature (British and Commonwealth).
