Joey Cheers

Joey Cheers has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Joey'smost recent role is as an Intermediate Artist at East Side Games, starting in March 2021. Prior to that, Joey worked at King Show Games as a Lead Artist from August 2017 to June 2020. In this role, they took on additional responsibilities such as collaborating, managing, and guiding both internal and external teams. Before becoming a Lead Artist, Joey worked as an Illustrator/Animator at King Show Games from January 2015 to August 2017. In this role, they were involved in all stages of video slot machine game development.

Before joining King Show Games, Joey worked as an Intern at The Shinebox in 2014. Joey also served as a Team Member at Chilly Billy's Frozen Yogurt from August 2012 to May 2013, and at Jimmy John's from September 2009 to September 2011. Overall, Joey's work experience showcases a progression in artistic roles and responsibilities in the gaming industry, along with previous experience in internships and customer service.

Joey Cheers completed their high school education at Southeast Polk Senior High School from 2007 to 2011. Joey then pursued further studies at The Art Institutes International-Minnesota from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Media Arts and Animation.
