Margaret O'Donnell

Margaret O'Donnell is an accomplished digital and design services leader with extensive experience in both the public and nonprofit sectors. As the Head of Digital & Design Services at East Sussex County Council since March 2015, Margaret focuses on efficient and user-friendly online access to council services. Previously, as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Brighton and Hove LGBT Switchboard, Margaret developed a new communications and marketing strategy. At the British Red Cross, Margaret held dual roles as Head of Digital and Digital Media Manager, driving digital transformation and maximizing engagement through various digital platforms. Additionally, Margaret served as Web Manager at RNIB, overseeing web accessibility and significantly increasing website traffic. Margaret holds a BA (Hons) in English and French from University College Cork and furthered education at the Institute of Direct Marketing.
