Stephanie Jones

Stephanie Jones is an experienced media professional with a background in journalism and education. Currently serving as a Substitute Teacher for East Troy Community School District since November 2022, Stephanie previously held the position of Editor at Lake Geneva Regional News from November 2020 to January 2023. A significant tenure as Managing Editor at The Journal Times from January 2008 to November 2020 included managing a team, editing stories, and overseeing online content for Racine's leading media source. Additionally, Stephanie worked as a Reporter at The Journal Times, covering various levels of government and news. Earlier experiences include roles at the Green Bay Press-Gazette as a Reporting Intern and at WasteCap Resource Solutions as a Communications Intern. Stephanie is also a former Board Member of the Volunteer Center of Racine County and contributed to The UWM Post as Editor and Board Member while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
