Wei Zhong

Wei Zhong is an experienced IT professional currently serving as FVP and Head of IT China at East West Bank since August 2015, previously holding the position of VP and IT Operation Manager. Prior to this role, Wei held various key positions, including Head of Technology & Operation at VantAsia Financial (China) and Product Manager at GDS Services and Infrastructure Ltd. Wei’s earlier experience includes serving as AVP and Open System China Manager at State Street and Senior Engineer at Cemtek Computer Solution, gaining expertise in business analysis, software project management, and customer service support. Wei holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering and Management from Fudan University, completed between 2005 and 2007.
