Christina Monroe

Director Of Alumni Engagement at East-West Center

Christina Monroe has a diverse work experience in the field of leadership and education. Christina began their career in 1999 at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where they served as the Director of the Service Learning Program until 2002. In 2005, they joined the East West Center and held various roles over the years. Christina started as a Leadership Education Specialist and later became the Senior Manager of the Leadership Program. In 2021, they were promoted to the position of Director of Alumni Engagement.

Christina Monroe received a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Political Science from The University of Tulsa in 1998. Christina then pursued a Master's degree in the International School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Amsterdam from 2002 to 2003. In 2004 to 2005, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Asia Pacific Leadership Program from East-West Center. In 2013, Christina completed the Organizational Consulting and Change Leadership program at Georgetown University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in areas such as sustainable investment, coaching, program design, and sustainability reporting.
