Tapiwa C.

Tapiwa C. has a diverse work experience in the field of management and audit. Starting from 2002, Tapiwa worked at Deloitte in the Audit and Assurance department until 2006. From there, Tapiwa joined Nexia SAB&T as a Senior Internal Audit Consultant for a brief period in 2007. Later that year, Tapiwa moved to RSM US LLP as a Senior Audit and Assurance Associate, where they stayed until 2011. During this time, Tapiwa also joined East-West Management Institute in 2011 as the Director of Internal Audit for International Operations, and served in this role until April 2018. In 2018, Tapiwa joined the National Endowment for Democracy as the Director, Compliance, and later served as the Senior Director, Compliance until August 2021. Currently, Tapiwa is working at East-West Management Institute as the Acting Chief of Party and previously held the role of Deputy Chief of Party.

Tapiwa C. pursued a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree in Accounting and Auditing from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. The education spanned from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, Tapiwa obtained two certifications: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in May 2016 and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in July 2012.
