Katalin Pakozdi

Katalin Pakozdi is a highly experienced professional in the field of plant breeding and research. Currently serving as the Global Head of Breeding and Chief R&D Officer at East-West Seed since August 2021, Katalin previously held several key roles at Driscoll's from February 2011 to August 2021, including Director of Plant Breeding EMEA and Director of Global Strawberry Breeding for both the EMEA region and China. Prior to that, Katalin worked as a Pepper Breeder at HM.Clause from May 2006 to January 2011. Katalin holds a PhD in Agronomy and Crop Science from New Mexico State University, a Master of Science in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, and a Master of Science in Agricultural Engineering from Pannon University of Agricultural Sciences/Georgikon.
