Justin Portente

Justin Portente is a Social Studies Teacher at East Williston Union Free School District since 2020, bringing experience from a previous role as a Teaching Assistant at Eastern Suffolk BOCES, where responsibilities included supporting students with emotional and behavioral disorders and teaching math to 3rd graders. Prior to that, Justin served as a Team Leader at Air Trampoline Sports and worked as a Research Assistant at King's College London, focusing on the concept of Sonderweg in relation to Germany's modernity. Justin holds a Master of Arts in Social Studies Teacher Education from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Binghamton University.
