Eastern Atlantic States Carpenters Technical Centers
The Eastern Atlantic States Carpenters Technical Centers is committed to training the most highly skilled and efficient work force necessary to remain competitive in today’s construction market. We provide our students with state-of-the art training opportunities that employ the most current trends in educational technology and in our industries. Students will learn the aptitude, skills, and knowledge needed to have a successful career. Our main campus in Philadelphia was established in 1945 through the US Department of Labor. Since then, we have continued to grow and improve. We currently have seven other campuses servicing Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The EASCTC believes that education and training determine the degree of employability for its members. Our training program is sponsored entirely through employer contributions, and consists of classroom instruction, technical training, and on-the-job training. Each campus has a training center that simulates an on-the-job environment, providing the participant with a hands-on approach to learn required skills. Our training programs have worked hard to develop a high-quality construction workforce for over 75 years, consistently challenging the industry standards to evolve and improve. When provided with the skills, knowledge and technology required in today’s construction industry, the union carpenter will remain unsurpassed in performance and superiority.
