M.D. Imran Hossain

Md. Imran Hossain has a diverse work experience starting from 2016. Md. Imran worked as an intern at SR Institute of Design from December 2016 to March 2017. Md. Imran then became a Former-Cadet at BNCC, Dhaka University from January 2017 to March 2017. In 2016, they started as a Management Associate at The Spartans' Communication Club and worked in the marketing team, eventually becoming the Deputy Manager of the marketing department. Md. Imran held this role from April 2016 to January 2018. In 2020, they worked as a Commercial Intern at bKash Limited in the M-Commerce payment department, where they gained insights into the mobile financial services industry in Bangladesh. Their most recent role is as an Associate Manager and Principal Officer at Eastern Bank Limited in the Export department, Trade Operation division. Md. Imran facilitates international and local exporters with various loan facilities against letters of credit, ensures compliance, mitigates risk, and conducts accurate foreign currency transactions. Md. Imran also assists corporate clients in completing their deals effectively. Additionally, they were a Management Trainee Officer at Eastern Bank Limited's Future Leader program from July 2022 to June 2023, where they gained valuable experience by rotating through all major departments of the bank and interacting with industry leaders.

Md. Imran Hossain holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in International Business, which they obtained from the University of Dhaka from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in International Business from the same university in 2016-2017. In 2017, they also acquired a German "A1" language certification from the Institute of Modern Language. For their secondary education, Md. Imran Hossain attended Kakoli High School from 2007 to 2013, where they obtained their Secondary School Certificate in the Science field. Additionally, they completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate in Business Studies from Dhaka City College between 2013 and 2015. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained the "Excel Skills for Business: Essentials" certification from Macquarie University.
