M.D. Mashuqur Rahman

Md. Mashuqur Rahman has a work experience spanning over two decades. Md. Mashuqur started their career in 2003 as a System Analyst at Eastern Bank Limited. In 2006, they joined AB Bank Limited as a Program Manager and in-charge of Electronic Business Operations, where they supervised operational activities and implemented various electronic banking services. In 2013, they moved to The Premier Bank Limited as the Head of Information Technology Division, where they formulated and deployed long-term strategic plans and managed IT division operations and planning. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Vice President at Eastern Bank Limited, a role they assumed in 2023.

Md. Mashuqur Rahman completed their Secondary School Certificate in Science from Dhanmondi Govt. Boys' High School in 1992. Md. Mashuqur then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Science and Technology from 1996 to 1998. In 1998-1999, they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1994, they completed their Higher Secondary Certificate in Science from B. A. F. Shaheen College. Additionally, Md. Mashuqur Rahman has obtained various certifications including CPISI (Certified Payment Card Industry Security Implementer) by SISA in 2019, The Program of Information and Communication Technology in Emerging Market Economies (PICT) in 2018, Leadership Certificate in Managerial Communication in 2017, Agile Fundamental with Kanban in 2013, Electronic and Mobile Based Payments Business Modeling in 2011, PMP FasTrac in 2011, SQL Server Advanced Administration in 2010, ITIL Foundation Level in 2010, and Microsoft Operational Framework (MOF) from an unknown year.
