Sazzad Shahriar

Sazzad Shahriar began their work experience in 2018 as an Intern at IDLC Finance Limited. In 2021, they joined Eastern Bank PLC as a Management Trainee Officer and completed various attachments in different departments. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Manager & Principal Officer in the Finance & Accounts unit at Eastern Bank PLC. In this role, they manage the Capital Market portfolio, prepares reports, and conducts analysis to identify investment opportunities.

Sazzad Shahriar completed their education as follows:

- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka (2019-2021).

- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance & Banking from Jahangirnagar University (2013-2018).

- Higher Secondary Certificate in Science from DRMC - Dhaka Residential Model College (2010-2012).

- Secondary School Certificate in Science from DRMC - Dhaka Residential Model College (2008-2010).

In addition, Sazzad Shahriar has obtained several certifications, such as ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor from Bureau Veritas Group (2023), JAIBB from the Institute of Bankers Bangladesh (2023), and Basic AML & CFT as well as Basic IT Security & Awareness from Eastern Bank Limited (2022). Sazzad has also completed various programs related to banking and IT, and holds certifications in Python and Excel from Coursera.
