Candace Giselle Thomas MSM, SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience. Candace Giselle started their career at Boston Public Schools as a Community Field Coordinator in the Office of Extended Learning Services, where they supported the director and served as a liaison for staff, students, and families. Candace Giselle then worked at Babson College as a Gift & Data Associate in the Office of Development, where they performed data entry and managed multiple email inboxes. After that, they joined Blast Fitness as a Human Resource Assistant/Payroll Associate, handling HR-related inquiries and assisting with new hires and benefits. Candace Giselle then moved to Lasell College as a Payroll Specialist, responsible for processing payroll and handling payroll-related matters. Candace Giselle then joined Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as a Talent Acquisition Associate, where they sourced candidates, conducted interviews, and collaborated with hiring managers. Candace Giselle later joined The Mediation Group as a Mediation Fellow. Currently, they are working at Eastern Bank, starting as an Assistant Vice President, Recruiter II, then Vice President Recruiter III, and currently as a Vice President Human Resources Generalist.

Candace completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution at Nova Southeastern University in 2020. Candace Giselle is currently in the program and has not yet completed their studies.

In the same year, 2020, they also obtained a certificate from the Center for Collaborative Leadership, Emerging Leaders Program at UMass Boston.

Prior to their doctoral studies, Candace earned a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration & Project Management from Lasell University. Candace Giselle attended Lasell University from 2014 to 2016.

Candace began their academic journey by obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Human Services from Endicott College. Candace Giselle pursued their undergraduate studies from 2010 to 2012.

Additionally, Candace holds a certification as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM, which they obtained in May 2022.
