Jason S. has over 20 years of experience in information security and internal audit roles. Jason is currently working at Eastern Bank as the Vice President & Information Security Officer. In this role, they are responsible for ensuring the security of information, computers, networks, and processing systems.

Prior to their current position, Jason worked at Cambridge Trust Company for 14 years. Jason held the role of Assistant Vice President & Information Security Officer, where they led the design, development, and implementation of strategic information security, cybersecurity, and data privacy protection programs. Jason collaborated with business line management to secure information and managed cybersecurity incident response, threat intelligence, data loss prevention, and vulnerability management.

Before joining Cambridge Trust Company, Jason worked at American Student Assistance as an Internal & External Auditor. In this role, they conducted internal audits and external reviews of financial institutions and universities to ensure the privacy of confidential information. Jason also served as the project manager for a team responsible for recommending process improvements and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Jason S. completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a concentration in Finance from Salem State University's Bertolon School of Business. Jason pursued further education at the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they are currently working towards a Master of Science in Information Technology with a specialization in Information Security and Assurance. Prior to that, Jason attended Woburn High School, where they obtained their High School diploma with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Jason also holds a Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) certification from the institution ISACA, which they obtained in April 2019.
