Michael Leofanti

Michael Leofanti has a diverse work experience in the finance sector. Michael started their career in 2007 as a Fund Accountant at State Street and worked there until 2008. In 2008, they joined Eastern Bank and held various roles throughout their tenure. Michael initially served as a Finance Officer in the Corporate Treasury department and gradually progressed to become an AVP Finance Officer and then a VP Finance Officer. In these roles, they provided analytical support, updated financial models, and managed the bank's cash position and liquidity. From 2015 to 2018, they took on the role of VP Stress Testing and Financial Planning, where they developed and maintained the capital stress testing program and oversaw the risk management process for the BOLI portfolio. In 2018, they were promoted to VP Market and Model Risk Manager, where they were responsible for developing and enforcing the model risk management program.
