Penny Billington Hunt

Penny Billington Hunt has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Penny started their career in 2003 as the RI Runaway and Homeless Youth Network Coordinator at Stopover Services of Newport County Inc. Penny then worked as a Development Officer at Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston from 2005 to 2010. In 2011, they interned at Bank of America as an MBA Intern.

Penny joined Eastern Bank in 2012 and held multiple roles during their tenure. Penny started as a Commercial Credit Analyst, where they underwent training in underwriting loans for various lending groups. From 2014 to 2017, they served as a VP Portfolio Manager, specializing in Community Development Lending. Penny managed commercial loan portfolios and fostered industry relationships in community real estate and energy projects. In 2018 and 2019, they worked as a VP Relationship Manager, handling middle market assets in solar, affordable housing, and other community development opportunities. Finally, they became a VP Portfolio Manager, Community Development Lending in 2020, taking on additional relationship management responsibilities.
