Rana Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Rana began their career at Citizens Bank in 1995, where they started as a Vice President- Branch Manager. In this role, Rana managed a successful branch, leading the team to achieve top sales performance for three consecutive years. Rana was responsible for sales, coaching and developing colleagues, business development, operations, and community development. Rana later transitioned to the position of SVP - Regional Sales Manager, overseeing regional sales operations until 2008.

In 2007, Rana became the Chairperson of the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, a regional arts agency that serves all artists and cultural centers in the area. Rana continues to be involved with the organization, connecting the Cape's cultural community with its residents and visitors.

Rana joined Eastern Bank in 2008 as an SVP - Retail Regional Manager, leading retail operations in their region. Rana has also been an Advisory Board member of the Cape Symphony since 2015 and a Member of the Board of Directors for the United Way - Cape and Islands since 2013.

Throughout their career, Rana has demonstrated strong leadership, sales expertise, community involvement, and a passion for supporting the arts and local communities.

Rana Murphy's education history begins in 1994 when they enrolled at Babson College for a two-year certification program in banking management. In 2004, they attended the Royal Bank of Scotland/Harvard Business School Executive Education for an Executive Leadership Programme in St. Andrews, Scotland, focusing on business, management, marketing, and related support services.

In 2010, Rana Murphy pursued their education at Furman University's Graduate School of Retail Banking, where they studied banking until 2012. Finally, in 2017, they attended iPEC Coaching and obtained a certification as a personal coach.

Throughout their education, Rana Murphy focused on areas such as banking, leadership, business, management, marketing, and advanced leadership training.
