Samantha Arzu

Samantha Arzu has a diverse range of work experience in recruitment and talent acquisition. Currently, they work as an Assistant Vice President, Recruiter II at Eastern Bank, where they are responsible for full life cycle recruitment across various departments and levels. Samantha has received recognition for their efforts in diversity, equity, and inclusion recruitment. Samantha also coordinates and manages temporary employee/agency hiring and contractor on-boarding. Samantha represents the bank at career fairs and networking events and develops marketing and training materials. Additionally, they identify community partnerships to enhance hiring pipelines and builds relationships with organizational leaders.

Prior to their role at Eastern Bank, Samantha worked as a Talent Acquisition Partner at Skillsoft. Before that, they were a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist and Interim Director of Talent Acquisition at CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange. At CIEE, they oversaw and managed all temporary/agency hiring, performed full life cycle recruitment, and led college recruitment efforts.

Samantha's previous experience includes roles as a Corporate Recruiter at The Execu|Search Group, an Internal Corporate Recruiter at Randstad USA, and a Staffing Specialist at Whitridge Associates. Samantha started their career as a Technical Recruiter at TEKsystems.

Outside of their recruitment roles, Samantha has also gained experience in leadership positions. Samantha worked at Target as an Executive Team Leader of Guest Experience and as a UNC Charlotte Target Campus Liaison. Samantha was responsible for driving sales performance, leading teams, recruiting, and promoting Target's career opportunities.

Before their professional career, Samantha was actively involved in volunteer work. Samantha created and led a team at Enactus United States for a clothing drive to support a women's shelter. Samantha also taught classes on resume development, interview skills, and budgeting.

Samantha holds a Bachelor's degree from UNC Charlotte and has demonstrated a strong commitment to recruitment and talent acquisition throughout their career.

Samantha Arzu completed their education in a chronological manner. Samantha obtained their High School Diploma from Weddington High School between 2005 and 2007. Following that, they attended Marvin Ridge High School from 2007 to 2009 and obtained their High School Diploma. Samantha then pursued higher education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2009 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. In addition to their formal education, Samantha also completed the ServSafe certification from ServSafe in 2012.
