Sean O'Connor

Sean O'Connor is a Credit Investment Analyst VP at Eastern Bank since September 2025, with extensive experience in economic research and credit risk modeling. Prior to this role, Sean served as a Senior Economist at the Federal Housing Finance Agency from June 2021 to September 2025, where responsibilities included evaluating econometric credit risk models and incorporating climate change factors into credit risk assessments. Sean began his career as a Financial Analyst at Bob Moore Auto Group and held academic roles at the University of Oklahoma, contributing significantly to teaching and research in microeconomics. Sean earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Oklahoma and holds two Bachelor's degrees in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
