Thomas Ballou

Thomas Ballou is a Senior Programmer at ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group since January 2016, specializing in the development and maintenance of web applications and programs that facilitate user access to patient data within clinical and administrative databases, in addition to creating web services and custom functions for Medidata Rave products. Prior to this role, Thomas served as a Senior Programmer at Frontier Science from April 1997 to December 2015, performing similar tasks related to web applications and data access. Earlier experience includes a position as Lead Electronic Tech at A/D/S from March 1992 to April 1997, overseeing the repair shop for A/D/S and Orion products, and as a Microwave Electronic Tech at Micro Dynamics from February 1986 to January 1992, focusing on tuning, repair, and testing of various microwave devices. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Wentworth Institute of Technology, completed between 1993 and 1999.
