Joshua Kahenya

Joshua Kahenya is a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist currently employed at the Eastern Deanery AIDS Relief Program since December 2021. Previously, Joshua worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at Haven Health Care and held a position as a peer counselor with USAID for nearly a decade, focusing on challenges faced by young people. Other roles include Laboratory Technologist at EQUITY AFIA Medical Center and lab intern at the University of Nairobi, where responsibilities involved sample collection and processing across multiple disciplines. Earlier experience includes management at Geofra Pharmacy and labor in the construction industry, which contributed to an appreciation for teamwork and resilience. Joshua holds a BSc in Medical Laboratory Sciences with a focus on Microbiological Sciences and Immunology from Kisii University.
