Kath Riddell

Kath Riddell has a strong background in nursing and healthcare leadership. From 2019 to the present, they have served as the Chief Nursing Officer at St. Vincents Hospital Melbourne. Prior to this, they held various positions at Eastern Health, including Executive Director Learning and Teaching / Chief Nursing Midwifery Officer from 2017 onwards, Deputy Chief Nursing Midwifery Officer / Director Practice Development & Nursing Midwifery Workforce from 2014 to 2017, and Director Practice Development & Nursing Midwifery Workforce from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, they worked as a Redesign Lead at Eastern Health from 2010 to 2011. Kath also has teaching experience as a Clinical Associate Professor at Eastern Health & Deakin University since 2014. Kath started their career at Healthscope as a Nursing Education Manager from 2004 to 2008.

Kath Riddell holds a Master of Nursing degree (Research) from Deakin University. Kath also completed a Graduate Diploma in Educational Studies from Monash University. Kath Riddell further obtained a Graduate Diploma in Critical Care Nursing from La Trobe University. Kath also completed a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Deakin University. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Education degree from Monash University.
