Amanda Niemerg is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with extensive experience in the field of behavior analysis and therapy. Currently serving as a BCBA at Eastern Illinois Area Special since July 2023, Amanda previously held multiple roles at The Place for Children with Autism, including Clinical Lead Supervisor and Lead Clinical Supervisor, from August 2018 to July 2023. Prior to that, Amanda worked at GREAT STRIDES BEHAVIORAL CONSULTING as a BCBA and Senior ABA Instructor from May 2014 to August 2018. Amanda gained early experience as a Graduate Intern at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where responsibilities included conducting functional behavior assessments and creating behavior plans. Additionally, Amanda contributed to family support initiatives as a Counselor at Project 12 Ways and worked as a Homemaker at Help at Home, Inc. Amanda holds a Master of Science degree in Behavior Analysis and Therapy from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Illinois State University.
