Phil Gottschalk has extensive experience in theological education and missions, currently serving as a worker with Eastern Mennonite Missions since August 2014. Previously, Phil held the position of Director of the ThM program at Zaporizhzhya Bible Seminary in Ukraine from July 2021 to February 2022, where responsibilities included teaching and program coordination. Additionally, Phil served as Chair of the Division of Theological and Historical Studies and Professor of Philosophy at Tyndale Theological Seminary in the Netherlands from August 2000 to August 2021. Early career experience includes missionary work with Greater Europe Mission from 1984 to 2014 and as an instructor in apologetics at the Eastern European Bible Institute from 1986 to 1994. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. and M.A. in Philosophy from KU Leuven, a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a BA in Russian Language, Literature, and Area Studies from Penn State University.
